Knockback Delay
Knockback Delay holds the knockback the server sends you for Maximum Delay before your game applies it. It works on any push the server gives you, such as hits, explosions and launchers, and only while you are playing, not in menus.
The other settings narrow down which knockback gets delayed. With the defaults, only knockback that arrives while you are in the air is delayed.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Distance To Target
Section titled “Distance To Target”Only delays knockback while another player is within this many blocks of you, measured to the middle of their body. At 0 there is no distance check, so knockback from far away, like an arrow or a rod, is delayed too.
Chance
Section titled “Chance”The chance that each knockback is delayed. At 100% every knockback that passes the other checks is delayed; lower values let some through straight away.
Maximum Delay
Section titled “Maximum Delay”How long each knockback is held before your game applies it, from 0 to 500 ms.
In Air
Section titled “In Air”Only delays knockback that arrives while you are off the ground. Turn it off to delay knockback on the ground too.
Looking At Player
Section titled “Looking At Player”Only delays knockback while another player is roughly in front of you, within about 60 degrees of where you look. It works together with Distance To Target when both are set.
Mouse Pressed
Section titled “Mouse Pressed”Only delays knockback while you are holding the left or right mouse button.
Holding Weapon
Section titled “Holding Weapon”Only delays knockback while you hold a weapon: a sword, axe, bow, crossbow, trident, mace or spear.
Show Real Position
Section titled “Show Real Position”While a knockback is being held, draws a violet box where the push would already have carried you. On servers that move you themselves, that is where the server already has you.
