Bow Aim
Steers your camera while you draw a bow, so the arrow flies to where the target will be: ahead of a moving player and high enough to make up for the arrow’s drop. It picks the player closest to your crosshair inside Range and FOV Cone and aims at their upper chest.
It needs a bow (not a crossbow) in your hand and at least one arrow in your inventory or offhand, and it only starts once the draw passes Minimum Charge. It never releases the shot for you.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”How far away a player can be for Bow Aim to aim at them.
FOV Cone
Section titled “FOV Cone”How far to the side of your crosshair a player can be, in degrees either way. Lower values only take over when you are already roughly on target.
Strength
Section titled “Strength”How fast it can turn your view. Higher values reach the aim point sooner. Mode can override this.
Smoothing
Section titled “Smoothing”How gently the turn eases in as it gets close, and how much it wobbles. 0 is sharp; higher values are floatier. Mode can override this.
Lead Amount
Section titled “Lead Amount”How far ahead of a moving player it aims, as a share of their predicted movement. 100% follows the prediction; lower values aim less far ahead, which helps against players who change direction, and higher values aim further ahead. Only used with Lead Moving Targets on.
Minimum Charge
Section titled “Minimum Charge”How far the bow must be drawn before it starts aiming, as a percentage of a full draw. Higher values leave short, weak shots alone.
Sets how strongly Strength and Smoothing apply.
- Legit: Caps Strength at 45% and keeps Smoothing at 65% or more, for a slower, gentler turn.
- Normal: Uses Strength and Smoothing exactly as you set them.
- Snap: Raises Strength to at least 85% and caps Smoothing at 15%, for a fast turn onto moving targets.
Lead Moving Targets
Section titled “Lead Moving Targets”Aims where a moving player will be when the arrow arrives, based on how they have been moving. Off, it aims at where they are now.
Compensate For Drop
Section titled “Compensate For Drop”Aims higher to make up for the arrow dropping over distance, based on how far the bow is drawn. Off, it aims in a straight line.
