Account and devices
Your account lives on citron.lol. It holds your licence, the PCs your licence is bound to, your subscription and the Citron download. You sign in to the Citron client with the same username or email and password.
Creating an account
Section titled “Creating an account”- Go to citron.lol/#/account and open the Register tab.
- Choose a username: 3 to 32 characters, using letters, numbers, dots, underscores and hyphens.
- Enter an email (optional, but you need one to reset your password).
- Choose a password of at least 8 characters and click Create account.
If Continue with Discord is available, you can sign in with Discord instead. That creates an account without a password.
Usernames are case sensitive when you sign in.
Resetting your password
Section titled “Resetting your password”- On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?.
- Enter the email on your account and click Send reset link.
- Open the link in the email within one hour and choose a new password.
Check your spam folder if the email does not arrive. Saving a new password signs you out everywhere, including in the Citron client.
If your account has no email, ask for help in the Discord.
Your dashboard
Section titled “Your dashboard”Once signed in, the dashboard shows:
- Licence: your plan (Weekly, Monthly, Lifetime or a redeemed key), and whether it renews.
- Expiry: when your access ends, or Never for lifetime access.
- Devices: how many PCs are using your licence, out of how many it allows.
Redeeming a key
Section titled “Redeeming a key”If you have a licence key (it looks like CCC-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX):
- Sign in on the account page.
- Paste the key into Redeem license and click Redeem.
Time from a key is added on top of any time you already have. Keys are redeemed on the website only; the client has no key field.
Downloading Citron
Section titled “Downloading Citron”The Citron card on your dashboard has the Download for Windows button. It unlocks once your licence is active. Download Citron only from here: the client updates itself afterwards, so you rarely need to download it again.
Moving to a new PC
Section titled “Moving to a new PC”Your licence is bound to one PC. Signing in on a second PC is refused with “Device limit reached”. To move your licence:
- On the new PC, download
CitronHWID.exefrom the Change HWID card on your dashboard and run it. Your HWID is copied to the clipboard. - Paste it into New HWID and click Update HWID.
- Sign in to Citron on the new PC.
A licence can change PCs about once a week. If you try again too soon, the card tells you when the next change is available. If you lost access to your old PC and need to move sooner, open a ticket.
Removing a device
Section titled “Removing a device”The Registered devices card lists the PCs your licence has been used on, with when each was last seen. Click the remove button next to a PC, then click again to confirm. That PC is signed out of Citron straight away and cannot use the licence again unless you move the licence back to it with Change HWID. Removing a device counts toward the weekly limit.
Linking Discord
Section titled “Linking Discord”The Discord card links your Discord account to your Citron account, which gives you the customer role in the Citron Discord. If your account has a password, you can unlink it again from the same card.
Managing your subscription
Section titled “Managing your subscription”Weekly and Monthly plans renew automatically. The Billing card on your dashboard shows the next renewal date.
- Cancel subscription: stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling does not refund anything already paid.
- Resume subscription: undoes a cancellation, as long as the current period has not ended yet.
- Update card or view invoices: opens the Stripe billing portal.
See Purchasing for how plans, keys and lifetime access combine.
Logging out
Section titled “Logging out”- On the website: click the logout button in the top bar.
- In the client: open Settings, scroll to Account and click Log out twice. This also unloads Citron Internal from Minecraft.
