Installation
This guide assumes you already have an active licence. If you do not, see Purchasing.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- Windows 10 or 11.
- Minecraft for Windows (Bedrock Edition), from the Microsoft Store or the Xbox app, on a supported version. Java Edition is not supported.
- A citron.lol account with an active licence.
Install Citron
Section titled “Install Citron”-
Sign in on citron.lol/#/account.
-
Download Citron. On your dashboard, click Download for Windows in the Citron card. You get a single file,
Citron.exe. There is no installer. -
Give it a folder of its own. Create a folder such as
Documents\Citronand moveCitron.exeinto it. Citron updates itself by replacing this file, so the folder must be one you can write to. -
Add antivirus exclusions. Antivirus software often flags clients like Citron. Add exclusions for the folder from the previous step and for
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Citron, before you run it. In Windows Defender: Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings > Add or remove exclusions > Add an exclusion > Folder. -
Run
Citron.exe. A splash screen shows while Citron checks for updates. If there is a newer version, it installs it and restarts on its own. -
Sign in with your citron.lol username or email and password, or with Continue with Discord. Citron remembers you, so you only do this once per PC.
That is it. Continue with the Quick start to inject and turn on your first modules.
Where Citron keeps its files
Section titled “Where Citron keeps its files”Everything Citron saves lives in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Citron: your configs, friend and target lists, keybind commands, your saved login and crash reports. Paste that path into the File Explorer address bar to open it.
Updating
Section titled “Updating”Citron checks for updates every time you open it and installs them by itself. You never need to download it again, unless an update fails. See Updates if one does.
Uninstalling
Section titled “Uninstalling”- Close Citron (this also unloads it from Minecraft).
- Delete
Citron.exe. - Delete the
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Citronfolder.
Self-Destruct can do the last two steps for you.
