Configs

A config is a saved set of everything you have set up: which modules are on, every setting, your keybinds, your accent color and theme. Keep one per server or playstyle and switch between them in a click.

Citron always has a config called Default, and changes save to the active config automatically, about a second after you stop editing. There is no save button to forget.

The config list sits at the bottom of the sidebar, under CONFIGS, in the Cards and Tiles layouts. The List layout has no config list, so switch layouts to manage configs.

To… Do this
Create a config Click + next to CONFIGS. You get a copy of your current setup called “Custom 1” (or the next free number), and it becomes active.
Switch configs Click a config’s name. Your current config is saved first.
Rename Double-click the name, or open the config’s menu and choose Rename. Press Enter to keep the new name, Esc to undo.
Overwrite Open the menu and choose Overwrite. Your current settings are saved into that config without switching to it.
Delete Open the menu and choose Delete. This happens straight away, with no confirmation.

Open a config’s menu by hovering its row and clicking , or by right-clicking the row.

In game, the Configs panel of the Click GUI lists your configs so you can switch without leaving the game.

Configs are plain files with the .citron extension.

  • Save to File: on the Settings page under Configs, exports the active config to wherever you choose.
  • Load from File: imports a .citron file. It is added as a config named after the file, and Citron switches to it. Settings the file does not mention keep their defaults.
  • Open Folder: opens the folder where Citron keeps your configs, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Citron.

To share a config, send someone the exported .citron file.

Some things are yours rather than part of a playstyle, so they stay the same whichever config is active:

These are also never included when you export a config, so sharing a config never shares your friend list.
