W-Tap
W-Tap briefly releases the forward key after each landed hit so your sprint resets, which gives the harder sprint knockback and stops you overrunning the opponent. It only acts when you actually land a hit on a player, and only while you are physically holding forward.
It pauses in menus and while the cursor is showing. Combat Rules, if on, takes over this job, so W-Tap stands aside while Combat Rules is running.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Tap Time
Section titled “Tap Time”How long the forward key is released for each tap, in milliseconds, labelled Tap Time. A fresh value is rolled between the two handles on every hit, so no two taps are exactly the same length. Lower is a quicker flick.
Chance
Section titled “Chance”The percent chance that any given landed hit gets a tap. At 100 every hit is tapped; lower it and some hits are skipped.
S-Tap (back up instead)
Section titled “S-Tap (back up instead)”On, it taps the back key (S) instead of releasing forward, so you step back a touch after each hit rather than just resetting sprint. Off, it releases forward.
Only when Sprinting
Section titled “Only when Sprinting”On, it only taps when you are actually sprinting (the sprint key held as well as forward). Off, it taps on any forward hit.
