Reach Display
Shows how far away your last hit on a player landed, measured from your eyes to the exact point on their hitbox that you hit. The number stays up for Hold Time after each hit, then reads 0 until you land another. Only hits on players count.
Multiplier and Apply Cap only change the number that is shown, never the measurement itself. It hides while one of Minecraft’s own screens is open, such as your inventory, chat or the pause menu, and stays visible while the Click GUI is open so you can watch your changes.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Multiplier
Section titled “Multiplier”Multiplies the distance before it is shown. At 1x you see the real measurement, 0.9x shows 90% of it and 1.1x shows 110%.
Cap At
Section titled “Cap At”The highest number the readout will show while Apply Cap is on. A hit that would show a larger number shows this number instead.
Decimals
Section titled “Decimals”How many digits appear after the decimal point, from 0 (3) to 4 (3.0214).
Hold Time
Section titled “Hold Time”How long the distance of a hit stays on screen. Once this much time passes without another hit on a player, the readout shows 0.
Text Size
Section titled “Text Size”The size of the text, in pixels.
Screen X
Section titled “Screen X”Horizontal position as a percentage: 0% puts the element against the left edge of the screen, 50% centres it and 100% puts it against the right edge. Because it is a percentage rather than pixels, the element keeps its place at any resolution or window size. Dragging the element in the HUD Editor changes this value too.
Screen Y
Section titled “Screen Y”Vertical position as a percentage: 0% puts the element against the top edge of the screen, 50% centres it and 100% puts it against the bottom edge. Because it is a percentage rather than pixels, the element keeps its place at any resolution or window size. Dragging the element in the HUD Editor changes this value too.
Which font the readout uses.
- Mojangles: Minecraft’s own pixel font, matching the game’s HUD text.
- Clean: A smooth Windows font (Segoe UI).
Text Shadow
Section titled “Text Shadow”Draws a dark copy of the text slightly down and to the right, which keeps it readable on bright backgrounds.
Render Background
Section titled “Render Background”Draws a dark, see-through rounded panel behind the readout.
Square Brackets
Section titled “Square Brackets”Wraps the readout in square brackets, for example [Reach: 3.02].
Show Label
Section titled “Show Label”Puts Reach: in front of the number, for example Reach: 3.02. Off, only the number is shown.
Apply Cap
Section titled “Apply Cap”Turns on Cap At, so the readout never shows a number above it. Off, you see the measured distance (after Multiplier) whatever it is.
