Compass
Draws a strip of the horizon with a tick every 15 degrees and a letter on each of the eight directions (N, NE, E and so on). The red marker in the middle points the way you are facing, and the number above it is your exact bearing: 0 is north, 90 east, 180 south and 270 west.
It follows your camera, so it does not swing around when Silent Aura turns you toward a target. It hides while one of Minecraft’s own screens is open, such as your inventory, chat or the pause menu, and stays visible while the Click GUI is open so you can watch your changes.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”How wide the strip is, in pixels.
Degrees Shown
Section titled “Degrees Shown”How many degrees of the horizon fit across the strip. Lower zooms in, so the strip moves faster as you turn; higher shows more of the circle and barely moves.
Text Size
Section titled “Text Size”The size of the text, in pixels. The ticks and the red marker grow with it.
Screen X
Section titled “Screen X”Horizontal position as a percentage: 0% puts the element against the left edge of the screen, 50% centres it and 100% puts it against the right edge. Because it is a percentage rather than pixels, the element keeps its place at any resolution or window size. Dragging the element in the HUD Editor changes this value too.
Screen Y
Section titled “Screen Y”Vertical position as a percentage: 0% puts the element against the top edge of the screen, 50% centres it and 100% puts it against the bottom edge. Because it is a percentage rather than pixels, the element keeps its place at any resolution or window size. Dragging the element in the HUD Editor changes this value too.
Which font the compass uses.
- Minecraft: Minecraft’s own pixel font, matching the game’s HUD text.
- Clean: A smooth Windows font (Segoe UI).
Render Background
Section titled “Render Background”Draws a dark, see-through rounded panel behind the strip.
Show Heading
Section titled “Show Heading”Shows your exact bearing in degrees above the middle of the strip, where 0 is north, 90 east, 180 south and 270 west.
Show Degree Labels
Section titled “Show Degree Labels”Writes the number on each 15 degree tick between the eight direction letters. Off, only the letters are shown.
Text Shadow
Section titled “Text Shadow”Draws a dark copy of the heading number slightly down and to the right. It only affects the heading, so it does nothing while Show Heading is off.
Related modules
