Media Player
Shows what Windows is playing as a card on your screen: cover art, title, artist, a progress bar with the time, and previous, play/pause and next icons. It follows any app that reports its playback to Windows, such as Spotify or a browser tab.
The icons on the card cannot be clicked. To control music from in game, bind Previous Track, Play / Pause and Next Track: pressing one sends the matching media key to Windows, which passes it to whatever is playing. Icons for unbound keys are drawn dimmed, and titles too long for the card scroll back and forth instead of being cut off.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”How big the card is. 1x is the normal size, and higher values scale the whole card up.
Screen X
Section titled “Screen X”Horizontal position as a percentage: 0% puts the element against the left edge of the screen, 50% centres it and 100% puts it against the right edge. Because it is a percentage rather than pixels, the element keeps its place at any resolution or window size. Dragging the element in the HUD Editor changes this value too.
Screen Y
Section titled “Screen Y”Vertical position as a percentage: 0% puts the element against the top edge of the screen, 50% centres it and 100% puts it against the bottom edge. Because it is a percentage rather than pixels, the element keeps its place at any resolution or window size. Dragging the element in the HUD Editor changes this value too.
Accent
Section titled “Accent”The colour of the progress bar and of the placeholder art shown for a track with no cover, used whenever the card is not coloured from the artwork.
Previous Track
Section titled “Previous Track”Press to go back to the previous track. Unbound by default.
Play / Pause
Section titled “Play / Pause”Press to pause or resume playback. Unbound by default.
Next Track
Section titled “Next Track”Press to skip to the next track. Unbound by default.
Hide When Nothing Plays
Section titled “Hide When Nothing Plays”Hides the card while Windows reports no track at all. A paused track still counts, so the card stays up while paused. Off keeps the card on screen, showing Nothing playing.
Colour From Artwork
Section titled “Colour From Artwork”Tints the card with a colour taken from the current cover art. Tracks without cover art, or this switched off, use Accent instead.
