Injecting
Citron works in two parts:
- The panel (
Citron.exe) runs on its own, outside the game. A few modules work from here alone, such as Reach, AimAssist, the Auto Clicker and the Array List. - Citron Internal is loaded into Minecraft while you play. It runs the in-game Click GUI, everything drawn in the game (ESP, HUD elements, notifications) and every module marked INTERNAL.
Loading Citron Internal is called injecting. You need an active licence, and Minecraft has to be running a supported version.
Auto Inject
Section titled “Auto Inject”Auto Inject is on by default. While you are signed in, Citron watches for Minecraft and injects on its own once the game is running. You do not have to do anything: start Minecraft, wait for the game to load, and the modules unlock.
You can turn it off under Settings > Injection > Auto Inject. With it off, Citron stays external-only until you inject by hand.
Injecting by hand
Section titled “Injecting by hand”- Start Minecraft and wait for the title screen.
- In Citron, open Settings and find the Citron Internal row under Injection.
- Click Inject.
The button only appears while Minecraft is running and your licence is valid. Once Citron Internal is running, a green dot shows next to the button and the status reads “Internal active - press in-game key”. In game, a notification confirms it loaded, and Right Shift opens the Click GUI.
Status messages
Section titled “Status messages”| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Ready to inject | Minecraft is running and nothing is loaded yet. |
| Injecting… | Citron is loading into the game. |
| Injected - starting… | Loaded; the modules unlock in a moment (amber dot). |
| Internal active - press in-game key | Everything is running (green dot). |
| Minecraft not found | Start Minecraft first. |
| Loaded into Minecraft but the runtime never started | Restart Minecraft and inject again. |
If the row shows something else, such as an unsupported version or a message about antivirus, see Troubleshooting.
Uninjecting
Section titled “Uninjecting”Click Uninject in the same row. Citron Internal switches everything off and unloads itself from Minecraft. Minecraft has to be on screen for this, so do not minimise the game first.
After a manual Uninject, Auto Inject leaves that Minecraft session alone. It injects again the next time you start Minecraft.
Citron Internal is also unloaded when you:
- close the Citron window,
- log out,
- use Self-Destruct.
If Citron closes unexpectedly, Citron Internal turns everything off and unloads itself about 30 seconds later.
Locked modules
Section titled “Locked modules”Until Citron Internal is fully running, modules that need it are locked in the panel: their card is dimmed, shows LOCKED and reads “Requires Citron Internal - click Inject in Settings”. Each module page in these docs also says whether it needs injection.
If modules stay locked while you are signed in, check the account line at the bottom of Settings. When Citron cannot reach the licence server, it opens in an offline mode where no modules run. See Signed in, but offline.
Administrator rights
Section titled “Administrator rights”Citron does not normally need administrator rights. If Windows denies access to Minecraft, the status says so, and clicking Inject again restarts Citron as administrator (Windows asks you to confirm).
